About the Artist
Robert Bernard Armieri
Robert Bernard Armieri is a Canadian artist, musician, and independent creator based in Laval, Quebec.
Born in Ajax, Ontario and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, he has spent much of his life drawn to disciplines that combine craftsmanship, technical problem solving, and artistic expression, leading to work in fields ranging from filmmaking and music production to software development, mobile game development, web development, and fine art.
His earliest creative work was in independent filmmaking, where his short films received recognition through festival screenings and national competitions, including multiple placements in CTV's Best in Shorts competition and awards at Canadian film festivals. Over time these interests expanded into music production, recording, photography, software and web development, entrepreneurship, and traditional fine art. His independent music projects have received airplay on Canadian radio, charted on campus and community stations, and accumulated more than half a million streams online.
In recent years, Armieri has devoted particular attention to the study of traditional drawing and painting methods through structured study and independent practice. He is currently focused primarily on oil portraiture and the development of a larger body of work while continuing to pursue projects across a variety of creative disciplines.
In addition to his artistic practice, he continues to write, record, and produce music from his home studio in Laval, Quebec and welcomes inquiries regarding select art commissions.
